I am Milan Rai Kak, and I have always been drawn to beauty with purpose and I’m thrilled to share a piece of my world with you.
As an army brat, my childhood was a tapestry of travels across India, deeply influenced by the diverse cultures and landscapes I encountered. My parents, instilled in me a profound respect for our rich heritage and the beauty found in every corner of our country. My experiences traveling around the world and working in hospitality have further shaped my appreciation for different cultures and refined my sense of design.
Jaipur is now my home, a place where I’ve discovered love, embraced motherhood and a deeper connection to my roots. Here, amidst the rich heritage and vibrant colours of Rajasthan, this city renowned for its traditions, felt like a perfect canvas for my dreams.
Vilasa Jaipur is a reflection of my journey and passion, blending the elegance of tradition with a contemporary touch. My store is a collection of unique finds and design experiments that I’m eager to share with you. For me, it’s more than a business, it’s a way to share the magic of Jaipur with the world.
